吉那第‧史比倫
1948年的聖誕節，吉那第‧史比倫出生於俄羅斯首都莫斯科近郊的小城。史比倫畢業於莫斯科的「斯特羅加諾夫美術學院」（ Stroganov Academy of Fine Arts in Moscow ），作品曾經獲頒許多大獎，包括四屆「插畫協會金牌獎」（Gold Medals from the Society of Illustrators）、四屆「紐約時報年度最佳圖畫書」（New York Times Best Illustrated Book of the Year）、義大利「波隆那國際兒童書展最佳選書 」（ the Premio Grafico at the Bologna Childrens Book Fair），以及「布拉迪斯國際插畫雙年展金蘋果獎」（the Golden Apple of the Bratislava International Biennale of childrens book illustration）。
